Eligibility for JAMB Registration
To ensure your admission into an higher institution via JAMB, it is imperative to meet the requirements below:
- You must be 16 years old of age or above
- You must have a minimum of 5 credits in your Olevel result, with English being compulsory.

How to Register for JAMB Examination 2022
1. Create A Valid Email
This is the first and basic step you need to kick start Jamb 2022/2023 registration. In a layman’s word, email is the address you can use to get messages online.
2. Get your NIN (National Identification Number)
Go to any NIMC office or NIN registration centers nearest to you to get your national identification number which will be needed for the creation of your JAMB profile.
3. Get your Profile Code
The JAMB profile code is usually a 10-digits numbers assign to a candidate and it is another important step needed to be taken while registering for JAMB 2022/2023.
To get your JAMB profile code, send your NIN number to 55019. After sending the message, you will receive a confirmation message.
4. Buy JAMB E-pin
After successfully obtaining your profile code, another step you need to take is to purchase your JAMB E-pin.
The E-pins can be obtained from any accredited agents like commercial banks. You can also purchase the pins online directly from JAMB at www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/CandPay/InitPay .
You will be required to pay a sum of three thousand and five hundred naira only (N3,500), to get this pin. This pin will be required to give you access to your JAMB registration 2022 form portal.
5. Go to Any Accredited JAMB CBT Center
JAMB released the list of accredited CBT centers recently. I have compiled the list and made it available for you in PDF. You can download and go through them to decide the most convenient one for you. Although, In my time, it was Cybercafes. Am sorry, you never enjoyed that experience. It is not my fault anyway. Right now, you can only register JAMB in approved CBT centers.
6. Go for Biometric (10 fingers biometric):
The biometric registration will also be done at the accredited CBT center. Below are the biometrics to be taken;
- Fingerprint capturing (10 fingers captured)
- Your O-level or A-level result will be submitted.
- You can use awaiting result.
You can use two sittings. I.e, one awaiting and one complete result or two complete results.
7. Collect Your JAMB E-Slip:
After successfully completed your biometric capturing, you would be given a slip containing all your biometric details submitted during the whole registration process, your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, course of study, the institution chosen, and others.

How much is JAMB 2022/2023 form? The total amount to spend on JAMB 2022 registration is N4,700 (Four thousand and seven hundred Naira only). the breakdown of which is;
E-pin = N3,500
JAMB Novel = N500
CBT center service charge = N700
Total = N4,700
Post Registration Stage (After JAMB Registration)
After you must have successfully register for JAMB, The next stage you must put in consideration and put in action immediately is the post registration stage which includes some stages.
1. Printing of Examination Slip
This examination slip is quite different from the first printout you would be given when completed registration. You would need to reprint your examination slip to enable you to access and see your examination date, examination center, seat number, and the time of your examination.
You do not need to panic if you haven’t heard of this before, You would actually be notified via the phone number you used during registration when to do your examination slip reprint. To break it out for you, the JAMB examination slip reprint will start in 2 weeks after the deadline for registration towards the date of the examination.
2. The Main JAMB Examination
After you have done your examination slip reprint, and you know every information (Your exam date, time, exam center, seat number …) the next step is the main examination which will be held at latest 2 weeks after the form closing date.
3. Checking of our Result.
JAMB board has made checking examination results super easy, in fact they’ve so far as texting you your results few hours after you completed your examination questions.
